• A. ActionShots is a way for you to increase your income if you are a Sports Photographer. Youth Sports Photographers in particular, will benefit from an affiliation with ActionShots. Simply put, ActionShots helps YOU sell more photos.

Q. How can ActionShots help me sell more photos?

• A. ActionShots lets everyone know where to find YOUR photos! EVERYONE knows what "action shots" are. So when they are looking for "action shots" where do you think they look on the Internet? ActionShots gets more hits by accident than most sports photography websites get with all of their advertising.
  
  EXAMPLE: You list all of the games and sports events you have shot into our database along with your URL (website address.) When someone comes to the Actionshots site looking for your photos they can search the database, click on your URL and be taken right to your site.

Q. So"ActionShots" is just an advertising gimmick?

• A. Yes. But then, so is "McDonalds." And so is the name "Xerox." It is the smart way to market your business and in Marketing, name recognition is the key. You can spend thousands of dollars promoting "Robert Williams Studio" only to be confused with "William Roberts Photography" who shot my niece's wedding and, of course, he doesn't even have a website and you lose a potential customer. • A. Yes and No. Of course people will become more familiar with the name but "ActionShots" does not shoot sports any more. We will NEVER compete with your business in any way. Remember that we are, simply put, a finely tuned Sports Photography search engine.

Q. Is there a cost to associate with ActionShots?

• A. Yes. (Do you think we'd let you register your shoots at the most popular and highly recognized site in the industry for free?)
  There are two positions.
  A. Affiliate. $49.95 per year allows you to post 50 events.
  B. Professional Affiliate. $149.95 per year allows you to post unlimited events.
  To be very frank, we believe your affiliation with us is worth far more and the investment will naturally be higher as we are able to add services and benefits, but we need a place to start. If you join with us now there will never be an increase to you.

Q. Isn't that a little expensive just to register with a search engine?

• A. No. When you give it careful consideration it costs you nothing. If you post 50 events for 49.95, it costs $1.00 per event. If you are able to sell only one (1) extra print per event you make money!

• A. ActionShots has years of experience in the Youth Sports Photography business and it is impossible to gage how much profit was lost because players, parents, relatives and friends could not find the game photos. They didn't know what Internet site they were on. Had they found them, they would have wanted to buy them. Even when we listed the Internet site on our fliers, many of the fliers were thrown away and the web address was lost,
  
  Then something very exciting happened! We began to advertise generically. We no longer advertised the individual games and events, we advertised "ActionShots." After many hours and many dollars spent with some of the best marketing minds in the business we realized what we had - the name.

You are not to say that you work for the Actionshots company or that you are employed by Actionshots* (*There are those of you who actually do work for a company named Action Shots or something similar. We are only saying that you may not indicate you are representing this company in a corporate capacity.

Q. Will you have more than one ActionShots Photographer in my town?

• A. No! Actionshots will never have any photographers in your town. Actionshots doesn't shoot photos. Actionshots doesn't have photographers. Although nearly everyone who works at Actionshots has been a photographer in the past, no one shoots sports for profit now.

Q. Can ActionShots locate games for me?

• A. No. Actionshots helps you sell more of the photos you shoot by making certain that more of your prospective customers can find you. However, Tournament Directors do visit the Actionshots site to review photos. If they are looking for a photographer in their area and you are not listed what do you think will be the chance they will hire you?

• A. No. We know you're excited about this new concept to make more money for you, but read the name again. "Actionshots" If you'd like more people to find your event photos, you should subscribe to Eventphotonetwork.com. Q. How can I protect my reputation if another photographer says he’s with ActionShots and doesn’t take care of his customers?

• A. Bad business practices and misrepresentation are the only reasons we will terminate a photographer from using the Actionshots search site. You must understand that neither you nor any other photographer "represents" Actionshots. If you say you do, you will be terminated immediately. You no more represent Actionshots than you represent "Google" or "Yahoo" because you are in their search database. If you said you did it would be fraud, plain and simple.
  
  People come to Actionshots simply to look for your photos. Don't make it any more complicated than that and you will make more money.

• A. No. At this time there is no plan to give references for photographers because we have no method of verifying the information and that would undermine the credibility of our company.
